Whenever enough new folks join the Dreamland RPG Facebook group or Discord server, I’m going to be posting new Dreamland material (the FB and/or Discord folks get to vote on what it is). In celebration of the Facebook reaching 450 folks, here is the table of contents of the Dreamland rules, and a general update.
The last few months have been very busy with Dreamland, from the regular playtests on the Discord (some of which I hope to upload as recordings soon), to drawing art, to behind-the-scenes prep for an eventual Dreamland crowdfunding through Exalted Funeral. Of course I’ve had to divide m`y time between the game and other work commitments, but it’s been really exciting to have so many people try out the game, to get feedback, and to see things moving along with the help of the EF folks.
Here’s a general list of my current Dreamland priorities:
- updates/fixes to the Dreamland character sheet
- finalizing the cover for the Dreamland setting book
- finalizing interior art for Dreamland
- uploading more actual plays to YouTube
- setting up a new series of playtests with new settings for April-May
The setting book “The Six Kingdoms”, written mostly by (author TBA), is still undergoing some tweaks and needs editing. However, the core Dreamland rulebook is 99.9% complete! Here’s a list of its contents in case you’re curious, or want to ask about any of these segments on the Dreamland Discord or Facebook, or for the next blogpost update. This is a high-level list, and doesn’t get too into detail, so you’ll have to wait (or ask) to see the exact list of Roles, or monsters, or random tables for creating locations and adventures.
